  • Sugar Snap Peas

What I’ve Eaten

  • Two salads with purple lettuce, radish, carrots and peas
  • Collard wraps with lentils or hummus (two each), radish, carrots, kimchi, bean sprouts and cilantro
  • Raw snap peas with hummus
  • Snap peas and spinach sautΓ©ed with garlic scapes, garlic, ginger, chili, soy sauce and cilantro

This past weekend we ran for the hills to escape the heat – at 9,600+ feet it still broke 80 degrees! As is the current trend, I’m sure June 2016 will be the hottest June on record.

“But nooooo, Anthropogenic climate change isn’t a thing,” she said sarcastically.

Speaking of humans… did you notice those power lines? That’s what we get for not going far enough away from nature! We had the pleasure of camping right along Ten Mile Creek and experiencing a stunning (almost) full moon; which I could not capture in a picture.

At least we got to enjoy beautiful views and Bentley got to spend time off leash, laying in the dirt, chewing sticks, being one with nature – you know, real dog things.
